Leadership

For this years Cub Edition 2025 I am extremely grateful to have been picked as one of four review editors. The experience of being a review editor has taught me skills I would not have learned outside of the Bark room. I learned the importance of communication, dedication, and most importantly knowing when to step down and hear everyones ideas. Aside from the Cub Edition cycle, I have been on Redwood Leadership for two semesters out of my two years here at Redwood. Throughout the past two semesters I have learned integrity, commitment and how to make every Redwood student feel included. I have also learned how to grow from rejection, because I was declined from Leadership two times. Learning from being rejected has taught me resilience and to not give up no matter the outcome. I also learned not to let a minor set back effect my confidence and trying again in the future.
